Christa Haggai Ramey

I became a lawyer because I want to effect change.
In my early career, when I worked in the district attorney’s office, the cases involving children affected me the most. Once I became a mother, my concern for the well-being of children only strengthened.
When I moved on to work for a personal injury firm, I realized that achieving justice for those who have been injured due to the negligence of another was my true calling. I find it richly  rewarding when I can help change my clients’ lives for the better, and can help hold the responsible party accountable for having hurt someone.
I’ve been bullied. My children have been bullied. We all know how it feels, whether it’s at school or at the workplace, to feel pushed around and powerless.
But in reality, we are not powerless. We can bring aggressors and the institutions that ignore or enable them to justice.
Many of the children I represent in bullying cases have special needs. So when I can help the most vulnerable among us, it is the most gratifying work I can imagine.
